[otrs-i18n] translation of OTRS to Persian Language

Dear Friends,

I have finished translation of OTRS to Persian Language
But I have a problem with table and page direction in HTML
because in Persian we write Right 2 Left instead of LTR but I think in
OTRS
the Directions is not changeable.
I have changed all table direction to RTL in standard template temporary
but
its not good idea because I have other language on that direction.
I have attached fa.pm(Persian xx code:fa) and standard changed template
for
you .

That's really cool. :-) It works for me.

But one problem. If I change it to Right2Left, I get the content (maybe
english) also r2l. :-(

Do you have any idea how to handle this?

Well Amir,

Actually Afshar Mohebbi very recently updated the Persian translation; you
can find it attached to this post from the List Archives:
http://lists.otrs.org/pipermail/i18n/2009-June/000371.html

Please fetch that one instead of the one from CVS.

It has not been added to CVS yet but I'm sure the nice people @
otrs.comwill do that soon ;-)

In Persian we have Shamsi (Jalali) Calendar as primary Calendar.
It's independent Calendar with unique calculation.
for Example today is: 1388/04/17 , 17 Tir 1388
I want to add this calendar to next version of OTRS.
Does OTRS support multi calendar types (Like Windows that supports
Hijri,...)?
Does OTRS Support Culture (Calendar,Numbering,Sorting,Date View,Text
Align,Fonts,Web Control Alignment,Report Alignment,Search Correction)?

Hi Amir,

OTRS is currently not supporting multi calendar at this moment. But it
sound interesting! :)

Do you know where I can read more about Shamsi (Jalali)? To understand
the logic behind. :)

OTRS is supporting Numbering, Date View and Text Align at this moment.

Sorting is normally done by the database.

Jalali (Shamsi, Iranian Calendar). If you have more questions plz come and
ask it in Persian Computing Group (
http://groups.google.com/group/persian-computing). This is an English
language group of localization/internationalization experts that are
speciallized in Persian (Farsi) standards.
